Precious Metals Twin, Throw Size Quilt, Orange and Gray Throw Quilt, Quilted Lap Blanket, Pieced Metallic Lap Quilt, Adult Quilted Blanket

This quilt measures 78 X 78. It is a generous lap or couch size. It would also serve well as a twin size coverlet. This quilt was featured in Quilting Quickly Sept/Oct 2015. My rendition features a mix of dark and light earth tone fabrics and has gold metallic accents giving it the name "Precious Metals". I long arm quilted it using a swirling design in a King Tut thread with reds, oranges, and browns. The batting is a poly cotton blend for heirloom quality. The backing is a matching brown in color and is shown in the last picture. The brown binding is one that is featured within the quilt and was done by machine for strength and durability.
