Cooking is always better in style, which is why I make sure to have a quilted potholder in my kitchen at all times. That potholder just happens to be extra special around fall! I like to switch out my classic purples and golds for some cozy oranges and yellows. It makes you want to stop what you're doing to bake some pumpkin bars. Because I know the importance of a good potholder, I made sure that these quilted potholders are just pretty as they are useful. While my design has evolved over the years, my goal has not changed: a good-looking potholder that works. To make this particular potholder extra special, it comes in a set with a towel! That way, you can match your holiday kitchenware to bake in style!

This is a set of two handmade kitchen pieces includes a 7.5-inch potholder and a hanging kitchen towel. The first fabric featured in the towel and potholder include a fall print with orange pumpkins, green vines, and orange maple leaves on a gray background. The pumpkins and leaves are accented by metallic gold. The second fabric used is an orange, red, gold, and white plaid. The potholder is long arm quilted in a stipple pattern using a matching variegated orange thread. The middle of the potholder is the most important part, it's what protects your hands! I use a layer of Hobbs 80/20 batting in combination with Insul-Brite to get the perfect thickness and the most protection without compromising any flexibility. This way if something does burn through, it does not burn you! These have machine binding around the outside that include a convenient loop for hanging. The towel features a waffle towel bottom and an orange button for hanging. Both the potholder and the towel are 100% washable.
