I can't talk about all of the perks of this mug mat without mentioning the gorgeous holiday fabrics! A lot of time and effort went into matching fabrics for this mug rug so that the final product pops. There is a large center panel with various rustic Christmas signs. The signs read "ice skate rental," "gone skiing," "candy canes," warm up hot chocolate". The outer border and binding were made using a swirling red fabric with gold glitter snowflakes. The binding was added on using a sewing machine for strength and durability. The backing of the mat is black with holly berry swirls and gold metallic accents. The mat features a quilted looping pattern on top in silver thread. The quilting is visible on the front and back of the mug rug, so you can flip it over to the back side for a second look! Thanks to a lot of thought and care, the final piece is a beautiful mug rug that embodies the coziness and elegance of the holidays.
