As the fall season slowly approaches, my desire to decorate grows stronger and stronger every day! I can barely contain the urge to dig out some leaf garland and pumpkin spice candles from my holiday decor! When talking about my fall decor, I absolutely can't forget the decoration I look forward to the most: a beautiful fall sign! Something I can throw up in any room of my house that signals autumn is underway. If you've also been struck by the fall spirit, I believe this beautiful piece of wall decor is the cure! It was designed with so much care towards creating a piece that evokes the warmth and joy of autumn.

The base of this wall art is a 9 x 12 inch stretched oval canvas. This canvas was primed with gesso to ensure all objects adhered to the canvas would be long-lasting. It then was painted with an opaque layer of a custom-mixed green paint that reminds me of beautiful green leaves just before they start to fade. In the very center of the canvas, the phrase "Autumn Blessings" is cut from matte metallic gold vinyl in a swirling font. Surrounding the elegant lettering, the there are numerous hand-assembled felt flowers. Not only are these flowers designed using fall colors, but they are also flowers that are uniquely used in bouquets during the fall season! There are orange poppies, white carnations, pink ranunculus, pink roses, yellow dandelions, and black chrysanthemums. There are also coordinating green leaves and vines. The flowers are arranged along the top and bottom edges of the canvas to best complement the positioning of the gold lettering.

The piece was designed and assembled to ensure an authentic fall feel comes with displaying it! While I personally love to display a good fall lettered sign in the entryway of my house, there are truly no limits to where you can hang this painting. The back side of the canvas includes eye screws securely screwed into the wood frame and twine tied in between the screws, so the piece can be easily hung in any room that could use some extra fall love.
