Cooking is always better in style, which is why I make sure to have a quilted potholder in my kitchen at all times. Because I know the importance of a good potholder, I made sure that these quilted potholders are just pretty as they are useful. While my design has evolved over the years, my goal has not changed: a good looking potholder that works. After a few years of selling these potholders at gift shows, I though it was about time to bring them to Etsy! I hope these gift show bestsellers become a staple in your household like they have in mine.

This is a set of two gorgeous 7.5-inch potholders. The fabric on the front is black with vibrant red, orange, and yellow sunflowers. These florals are extremely detailed with metallic outlining. The backing is a rustic crosshatch orange and the binding is solid black with gold dots to complement the front design. The potholders are long arm quilted in a stipple pattern using a matching variegated orange thread. The beautiful quilting is highlighted in the video. The middle is the most important, it's what protects your hands! I use a layer of Hobbs 80/20 batting in combination with Insul-Brite to get the perfect thickness and the most protection without compromising any flexibility. This way if something does burn through, it does not burn you! These have machine binding around the outside that include a convenient loop for hanging. These are 100% washable.
